The National Testing Agency conducted the JEE Main 2022 computer-based online exam for candidates willing to join the undergraduate engineering programmes at India’s leading engineering schools. The JEE Main is the first phase of theĀ IIT Joint Entrance Exam. Candidates who qualify in JEE Main will be advancing to the JEE Advanced.
JEE Mains 2022
The JEE Main is a test conducted across India. This entrance exam is held to admit students to the country’s best engineering and technical institutes. JEE Main 2022 is held as 3 different papers for the aspirants. Students who want to enrol in B.E. or B. Tech courses should appear for Paper 1. For students planning to enrol in the B.Arch. course, Paper 2A is the examination to be taken. For students who want to enrol in the B.Planning course, there is a Paper 2B. Although most of the primary questions are based on the NCERT, they occasionally include challenging questions that gauge the candidate’s conceptual comprehension and analytical prowess.
The JEE Main 2022 was conducted in two sessions. The first session was held in June, and the second session was in July. On August 8 2022, the JEE Mains 2022 result and cut off score were announced. Candidates had the option of attending both sessions of JEE Main or just one session. More crucially, students’ admittance to government-funded technical colleges like IITs, CFTIs, NITs, and others is determined by their JEE Main score. The top 2,50,000 JEE Main candidates will also be eligible to participate in JEE Advanced.
JEE Advanced 2022
The JEE Advanced is the second phase of the Joint Entrance Examination and is often given following the JEE Main exam. This examination is crucial for candidates seeking admission to premier engineering institutes such as IITs. The computer-based JEE Advanced test is conducted on a rotating basis by seven IITs (IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIT Guwahati). Students must meet the eligibility requirements set by the concerned authority to appear for JEE Advanced. To avoid any discrepancy in the future, candidates are recommended to carefully study the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements before completing their application forms.
The conducting authority will release the JEE Advanced registration and application form shortly after the JEE Main results are out. The application form for JEE Advanced 2022 should be made accessible following the conclusion of the JEE Main by IIT Bombay. Before submitting their application, students must register on the official website. In addition to submitting the online application form, candidates must pay the application fees.
Only those applicants who registered successfully for the JEE Advanced exam before the deadline will receive admit cards through the official website. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the JEE Advanced exam centres for JEE Advanced 2022 without a valid admit card. Candidates can access the candidate portal and download their admit cards by entering their registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.
